NEARLY THERE...

We are putting the days of dry, between the sun and the thunder showers, to good use.

The railing goes in next...will be so nice not to have to walk through the mud to the studio this winter.

 Art in the Park is over with only one good soaking on Sunday morning.  The rest of the time was filled with good times, good music, and good friends.

Took advantage of the last of the summer weather to take Ady to the Sound Garden in the park after the show on Saturday.

 Can you tell by the look on her face that she likes to make noise...music?

 Now, where do I start...

a little dance helps keep the rhythm...

 maybe next year...

Grammy...I think I may need a little help with these...

That's more like it...

Weekend is finally over and I don't know about anybody else but I'm exhausted...yet...

AT THE END OF THE DAY...I can't think of a better way to end summer and welcome in fall...can you?


 

LAST DAYS OF SUMMER...WHERE DID IT GO?

Have you noticed how short the days are getting...

 and the air is different after this last rain.

The sun is brighter...the shadows are deeper...the leaves are beginning to turn.

 

Labor Day weekend...school...

 

Indian summer.

 

I'm settling into my studio and almost ready for Art In The Park on September 14 and 15.

 

AT THE END OF THE DAY...fall is coming...

 

 

YEEEHAAAAA!

Taking a break from the studio for a few days while :

 

 

Nyna and I take Adyson to her first fair...(yesterday)...

Go to Physical Therapy ...(think it's going to take awhile to feel any better)...

 

Take a shopping day in Seattle to get more cradle boards and Gel so I can finish my rocks before Art In The Park.

 

Hubby builds a porch/deck on my studio. (It will have a ramp joining it to the deck on the house)

AT THE END OF THE DAY...idle time is overrated...and always in short supply.

 

WORKING THROUGH IT

Printing photos...preparing cradle boards...paint...gel...pain.

Physical Therapy...visiting a friend in the hospital...haircut...and more pain.

Rain...broken facet...show getting closer time getting shorter...the pain is easing...at least for today.

 

And more rocks...AT THE END OF THE DAY...the rocks keep me on solid ground.

...and normal everyday chores...

...i've been trying to work on my new rock series...

...everyday...AT THE END OF THE DAY...my head is still full of rocks...

The beginning of the end.  There are a bunch of finishing touches still to be done for the studio...the drain field for the sink should be finished soon...then on to the porch.
