Who would have guessed that
retirement could be so complicated...the paperwork alone
is enough to change your mind and put it off for a couple more years.
The timing of each detail,
from money to medical has to be just right or the checks won't come on time or
there will be a gap in medical coverage.
It's a balancing act...like trying to get all the food for a large
dinner done and on the table at the same time...on time.
And in the middle of all this
chaos there is one last dress rehearsal for having a house full of husband
everyday. Three weeks of leave time must
be used up between now and June 4.
Only 43 days
left...but who's counting.
AT THE END OF THE DAY... as I get another snag in the paperwork ironed
out I ask myself...am I really ready for retirement? And my answer?...You bettcha!!!
