STUBBORN OR IDEALISTIC

I watched a bird knock itself against my windows all day every day for over a week this spring.

It banged awhile on the studio window then moved to the house and hit the office window then the sun room.

I think it fascinated me because even though all I ever get is a headache when I bang my head continuously against something...

...until I come up with a better answer I tend to do the same thing over and over again because I know what to expect...and sometimes that's easier to live with than the unexpected.

Getting a handle on change is never easy.

When it is related to aging it can really be a tangled mess...and very hard to face.

One of the harder issues for me to deal with about growing older is getting stuck on the island of physical limitations.

How do I go from...I can't do it anymore...to either discovering a new way to do it...

or deciding  when to move on in a new direction.

It's all about finding new patterns.  I have begun meditating and journaling again each morning and new patterns are beginning to emerge.  It's an ongoing process...a lifetime process.  The alternative is to become old...

and..AT THE END OF THE DAY...I'm not ready for that...

MY BLUE HEAVEN

...searching for Roy B Giv again...

The  ICY VEIL of winter has finally lifted.

Although the DELICATE BALANCE between rain and sun hasn't quite settled.

SHEEPISH animal mothers are showing off their tiny offspring so driving on our road is slow and careful for awhile.

I am taking TIME FOR REFLECTION...

...while I LISTEN TO THE WIND blow the final dust off of spring.

AT THE END OF THE DAY...I'm looking forward to summer...
