About three
years ago when we started preparing for retirement I would post a picture on Facebook
with a paragraph or two summing up my day and how I felt about it or what I had
learned from it. It was short and to the
point and I looked forward to reviewing my day this way so I started this blog
as a way to chronicle this next phase of my life.
I realized
this morning that it has been three months since my last blog entry. I think because the writing became a chore
instead of what it started out to be...a bit of reflection and a bit of
sharing.
I will keep
writing stories and poems and essays...maybe even a rant now and then because I
do like to write and I will share when I think someone else might enjoy what I
write. In the meantime it's back to what
I started out to do...a bit of reflection and a bit of sharing several times a
week...
because...
AT THE END OF THE DAY...the essence of life is in simplicity...not clutter...
